The oil is also known as Palma Christi (Hands of Christ), perhaps because of the miraculous healing properties with which it was associated in ancient Egypt and Rome. Jamaican Black Castor Oil is a natural unrefined variety of the oil extracted from the Jamaican castor bean (“ oil nut”) by a traditional method which is believed to retain all the essential nutrients of the oil and is easily recognized by its distinctive black color and characteristic odor.

Can your products be used on Caucasian hair?
Our products can be used on all hair types. The only product that should be used sparingly on naturally straight hair types are the Jamaican black Castor Oil Pomade and the Herbal Gro Pomade. And this is only becasue pomades tend to be very thick and so it may weigh the hair down if too much is used. Let us know if you have any more questions.
